The Gerald Schoenfeld Theater, formerly Plymouth Theater, is owned by the Shubert Organization. Built in 1917, it is a mid-sized house that feels large, with seating capacty of 1,079. As one of the Great White Way Broadway Theaters, this theater is located in the famous Broadway Theater District, home to over 40 theaters within a 10 block strip of Manhattan (from 53rd Street to 42nd Street, between 6th and 8th Avenues).
