Danny Goldfield’s NYChildren
Photography at Park51, an
exhibition of unexpectedly
candid portraits of New York
City children from 169
countries. LIFE magazine
cover story admires, “From
Goldfield’s many images, a
single, rich, complex – and
beautiful – portrait
emerges.” The ongoing quest
is to photograph a child
from every country on earth,
living in NYC. This is a
community project. Visitors
are encouraged to
participate by offering
suggestions to help find the
remaining 24 countries on
the list. Park51 selected
NYChildren as their premiere
art exhibition trusting that
the better we know our
neighbors, the more open and
healthy all our lives
become.
Admission: Adults $5;
Children Free
